SHANGHAI -- Along pedestrian paths here, orange bicycles that look like mountain bikes, parked casually in parking spaces, are a common sight.  A man walks up to one of the bikes and reads the QR code with his smartphone. With a beep, the vehicle is unlocked. He rides on it and goes somewhere. You may wonder what he is doing. The man is a user of the bicycle-sharing service mobike, which is enjoying a boom in Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou.
